HR Coordinator / Talent Acquisition $25-$30/hr

Job Description

This role serves as the behind-the-scenes engine for the HR team, providing recruiting coordination, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and HRIS support (Workday) for a team of 5 recruiters. The ideal candidate has recruiting coordination or sourcing experience and is interested in gaining additional exposure to talent acquisition.

Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (some flexibility within the 8 hour shift that works around standard business hours, ie: 7:30am-4:30pm)
  • Location: in office 100% for training for about one month and then a flexible schedule (in office / not in office)
  • Type: Long term contract to end of year with potential to go longer (dependent on work volume and individual performance closer to that time)
  • Pay: $25 - $30/hr depending on experience level + benefits
  • Interview process: Virtual interview with HR Manager

Responsibilities:

Recruiting Coordination

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars for a team of five recruiters and the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding interview logistics and scheduling with hiring leaders.
  • Manage recruiting-related administrative tasks and provide day-to-day support to the recruiting team.
  • Assist with requisition and candidate management within the Workday system.
  • Open, post, update, and maintain job requisitions across recruiting platforms.
  • Ensure candidate and job posting information is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with offer requests in Workday.
  • Maintain recruiting records and perform ongoing data cleanup activities.

Candidate Sourcing

  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Add qualified candidates to recruiting workflows and talent pools.
  • Conduct outreach to generate candidate interest. Schedule candidates with recruiters for initial phone screens.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in HR - recruiting coordination, scheduling, talent acquisition support, or candidate sourcing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience scheduling interviews and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or HRIS platforms ideal.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data-entry and record-maintenance abilities.
  • Interest in developing a career in recruiting and talent acquisition.
